New Service Fees
The following table shows the standard fees for a new water service for a standard residential meter. These fees assume a standard installation where the water main is located at the site where the meter is to be installed. These fees assume that no additional line extensions, line upgrades, road bores or other additional expenses are to be incurred. A person who desires a new water service must make request to the South Grayson Special Utility District. Upon receipt of a new service request, South Grayson SUD personnel will make a site inspection and provide a written cost to the person requesting the new service.
Service requests where property is being subdivided will be treated as a request for non-standard service and additional fees may apply. Requests for meter sizes above the Standard 5/8 x 3/4 meter size will be treated as a request for non-standard service and additional fees may apply.
